World Cup Sweepstake Generator
Add participants, load or edit football teams, and let Spinly create a fair random team draw for an office, classroom, family, or friends sweepstake.
Set up your draw
Team presets last checked: 21 May 2026.
Use a preset for confirmed countries or current league clubs, or edit the list for your own tournament. This tool also works for Euros, Champions League, office tournaments, school draws, and custom football sweepstakes.
Your setup stays in this browser unless you choose Save online while logged in. No login is needed to generate a draw.
How to run a World Cup sweepstake
Collect everyone who wants to take part, add one name per line, then load the qualified teams preset or paste your own team list. Generate the draw, share the table, and keep the rules simple: each person follows the teams they were assigned.
Paste one participant per line and choose how many teams each person should receive.
Use a preset or paste your own countries, clubs, school houses, or custom football list.
Create the draw, then copy, download, or print the result sheet for your group.
How the random team draw works
Spinly trims blank lines, removes duplicate names and duplicate teams, shuffles the teams, optionally shuffles participants, then deals teams out without assigning the same team twice.
How many teams should each person get?
Auto mode uses a practical whole number. For example, 48 teams with 12 people gives 4 teams each, 48 teams with 24 people gives 2 each, and 48 teams with 20 people gives 2 each with 8 left unassigned.
What to do if you have fewer people than teams
Give each person more than one team, or allow unassigned teams and list them below the draw. For small groups, choose any valid number that fits your team list and keeps the sweepstake easy to follow.
Ideas for office and friends sweepstakes
Print the table for a noticeboard, copy it into a chat, or download the CSV for a spreadsheet. You can redraw if somebody joins before the tournament begins.
How to use this for other football tournaments
Replace the teams with clubs, countries, school houses, departments, or any custom football list. The generator does not depend on a specific competition format.
Why a random generator is better than drawing teams manually
A browser draw is quick, tidy, and easy to repeat. It avoids folded paper, missing slips, and accidental duplicate assignments.
Need a demo or party reveal?
For harmless rehearsals, test draws, and organiser-led party reveals, read the rigged World Cup sweepstake generator guide. For normal sweepstakes, keep the default fair draw settings on.
